Dzeny is an AI wellness tool and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. Dzeny is not a crisis service

Dzeny is designed for day-to-day emotional support, self-reflection, and mental wellness — not for emergencies. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (911 in the US, 999 in the UK, or your local emergency number) right away.

How to find a licensed therapist

Getting Started

  1. Open the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play (Android) on your device.
  2. Search for "Dzeny" or tap a direct link: App Store | Google Play.
  3. Tap Get (iOS) or Install (Android) and wait for the download to complete.
  4. Open the app — you're ready to get started.

We recommend keeping the app updated to always have access to the latest features and improvements.

  1. Open the Dzeny app on your device.
  2. Tap Sign Up and choose your preferred sign-in method (Apple ID, Google, or email).
  3. Complete the short onboarding — a gentle check-in that helps Dzeny understand what kind of support you're looking for.
  4. Set up your profile. You don't need to use your real name.
  5. You're in. Your first conversation can begin right away.
  1. Download the app and create your account (see above).
  2. When prompted, choose a subscription plan and tap Start Free Trial.
  3. Your 7-day free trial begins immediately — no charge until the trial ends.
  4. You can cancel any time during the trial at no cost — see subscription steps in our FAQ.

Your first payment is charged automatically on day 8 unless you cancel before the trial ends.

At the end of your 7-day free trial, your subscription automatically renews and your chosen plan's fee is charged through the App Store or Google Play. Your access to Dzeny continues without interruption.

If you cancel before the trial ends, your access remains active until day 7 — and you will not be charged.

To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial end date. For cancellation steps, see our FAQ.

  1. Open the app and tap Start a Session.
  2. Choose your preferred mode: text conversation or voice.
  3. Share what's on your mind — Dzeny will respond with thoughtful prompts and gentle insights.
  4. After your session, explore your Insights tab to track your emotional patterns over time.

Account & Settings

  1. Open the Dzeny app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Account, then Email Address.
  3. Enter your new email address and confirm the change.
  4. Check your inbox for a verification email and tap the confirmation link.

If you're having trouble updating your email, contact us at general@dzeny.com with subject: Change email address.

  1. On the Dzeny login screen, tap Forgot Password.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Check your email for a password reset link and follow the instructions.

If you signed up with Apple ID or Google, your password is managed by Apple or Google — update it through their settings.

  1. Open the Dzeny app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy, then PIN Lock.
  3. Set a new PIN or disable the existing one.

PIN lock adds an extra layer of privacy to your Dzeny sessions — we recommend enabling it if you share your device.

You are always in control of your data. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone — all your sessions, insights, and personal data will be removed.

  1. Email general@dzeny.com with the subject line: Delete my account.
  2. Include the email address associated with your account.
  3. Our team will process your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR/CCPA) and confirm once complete.

Account deletion is permanent. If you'd like a break instead, you can simply cancel your subscription and stop using the app — your data will remain safely stored until you return.

Yes — you can use Dzeny on any device where you're signed in with your account. Your sessions and insights sync automatically across devices.

For security, we recommend signing out of devices you no longer use. Go to Settings, then Account, then Sign Out.

Technical Support

  1. Close the app completely and reopen it.
  2. Check your internet connection — switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to test.
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of Dzeny installed (see How to update the app below).
  4. Restart your device.
  5. If the problem continues, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Your account and data will not be lost.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact our support team at general@dzeny.com with a description of the problem and your device model. We typically respond within 2 business days.
  1. Check that you've granted Dzeny microphone permissions. Go to your device Settings, then Apps, then Dzeny, then Permissions, then Microphone, then Allow.
  2. Make sure your internet connection is stable — voice sessions require a stronger connection than text.
  3. Check that your device's microphone isn't muted or blocked by another app.
  4. Close and reopen the app, then try starting a voice session again.

  2. Close the app and reopen it, then start a new session.
  3. Make sure your app is up to date.
  4. If you're in the middle of a session, try sending a simple message like "Hello" to restart the conversation.

This issue was identified and resolved in a recent app update. Please make sure you have the latest version of Dzeny installed.

  1. Update the app (see How to update the app below).
  2. Close and reopen the app — your Personal Plan or Goal Cycle should now update correctly.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact our support team at general@dzeny.com with a description of the problem and your device model. We typically respond within 2 business days.

iOS: Open the App Store, then tap your profile icon, then scroll to Available Updates, then find Dzeny, then tap Update.

Android: Open Google Play, then tap your profile icon, then Manage apps & device, then Updates available, then find Dzeny, then tap Update.

We recommend enabling automatic updates so you always have the latest version.

  1. Close other apps running in the background to free up memory.
  2. Check your available storage — low storage can slow down apps significantly. Free up space if needed.
  3. Clear the app cache: on Android, go to Settings, then Apps, then Dzeny, then Storage, then Clear Cache. On iOS, try offloading the app (Settings, then General, then iPhone Storage, then Dzeny, then Offload App) and reinstalling.
  4. Restart your device.
